About The Founder

Jyoti Kalra is the founder & curator of Uchaan foundation. She is a key driver behind demystifying art to the common man through the Uchaan Foundation, a philanthropic initiative in art. She holds a professional degree in fine arts. Her work has been published in leading metropolitan newspapers and magazines in India & abroad. Gifted with an eye for understanding are she ahs been able to whet her skills with passing years. She has expanded her verticals and has ventured internationally and has also organized many art based events.
She has been facilitated by Dr. Harshvardan & Smt. Maneka Gandhi for “Beti Bachaon & Beti Padoa” mission. She was also recognized & awarded for her services in the field of art and culture.
She believes that the arts and culture are essential to our individual and community lives, and for a more equitable and just world. It gives meaning to our existence and enables us to enquire into our past, critique our present and imagine collective futures. It connects us through shared experiences to question, resist, and build. The arts makes us human, makes us more.
